Real POWER 100% Green Electricity !!! ( with the help of a water – wheel . or a wind – wheel , or a magnet – motor , or … etc . ) .
To separate:Put it in the freezer for a night and heat the part to be removed with blowtorch which should loosen it.Several attempts maybe required,try not to directly heat the shaft,need to keep that cooler.These are usually fitted with a several ton press so they are tight.

I hired a mecanic and told him what and how to do in some moments. 2 days with spray anti-rust and very small shocks with a hammer to allow spray to get inside, between the axis and the claw’s hole; then I put the claws ( “pins”, “heads”) on the vice’s jaws, and with a hammer I stroke a bronze drift put it on the head of the axis, several times NOT very hard (I let the NUT on the head of the axis to protect the thread).
DON’T DO IT !

JUST FOR THEORY ( hints ):
1. See ALL the features of a classical-car-alternator !
2. A classical-car-alternator works over 1000RPM (to generate the designed POWER) !
3. If the MAGNETIC FIELD of the magnet is as strong as the M.F. of the coil , and do the same work , obviously : the alternator will generate the same POWER ( as the original design ) !
Once again: JUST FOR THEORY, NOT FOR PRACTICE !

andyrands,both the claw magnets are finely splined, both press onto/along the standard Delco shaft, though it helps tohave a press or at least good vice drifts lump hammer handy.
Theoretical : Compare a classical-car-alternator ( ALL the features ) with a modifyed-car-alternator ( one like in the “video” ) and thus you can see the ADVANTAGES ( of the one in the “video” ) . PS : If you can’t observe the advantages , ask a Teacher ( from a technical-school , better : with a profile like “energetics” ). That’s what I say to help you. Good luck !
