To make free energy possible you would have to patten it the pull a stunt like in The Saint, where the whole world saw Cold Fusion was real. Make it impossible for anyone to put the genie back in the bottle. Then you would have to give rights to use your device to anyone and everyone who would use it. It would have to be done without respect to financial gain.
The lesson here is that now it is indeed time to bring his works out into the light and elaborate or the huge trouble we have found ourselves in collectively will lead to certain demise. I believe that Tesla’s idea of broadcasting energy was an optimistic one and had problems but i liked the spirit of it : FREE FOR EVERYBODY.
Tesla was a great inventor, AC power, and was even later credited with inventing Radio. But he also had some bad ideas. Broadcast power was one of them. The reason Morgan pulled funding for it was because it did not work.
Even at real short distances the losses were just to great.
